Chemistry graduate students have a great place to escape to in Hamilton Hall. In August 2009, a brand-new lounge on fourth floor was completed! PLU members negotiated the new space from the department, provided funds to purchase a new TV and couches, and cleaned and organized the space. The lounge includes the following amenities for graduate students:

• Study tables
• A computer
• Coffee maker and FREE coffee
• Microwave
• Refrigerator
• Comfortable couches
• A new flat screen TV

The fourth floor lounge provides graduate students with the perfect place to work on grading and prepare for teaching assignments, grab a cup of coffee while reading papers, or just relax for a few minutes. A huge thank you goes out to all of the PLU members involved in creating this great space!
